Occupational Therapist & Team Leader

Hi, I’m Jen! I’m an Occupational Therapist and Team Leader at Spot Therapy Hub, working from our Randwick clinic Tuesday to Thursday.

Before joining Spot, I worked in corporate health as part of a People and Culture team, where I developed workplace health, wellbeing and injury management programs. My role focused on helping people stay healthy at work, supporting employees through physical and mental health challenges, and partnering with leaders to create safe, inclusive and neurodiversity-affirming workplaces. That experience taught me the importance of balancing the needs of both individuals and organisations, while always advocating for meaningful participation and belonging.

Alongside my corporate career, I’ve spent many years teaching yoga and Pilates (both mat and reformer) to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I love helping people understand their bodies, build confidence and discover what they’re capable of.

Working with children had always been a dream of mine. Once my own children had grown up and flown the nest, I returned to university to study Occupational Therapy. I’d actually been “wholesomely stalking” Spot Therapy Hub for a couple of years before I finally sent a letter expressing my interest in joining the team. Thankfully, the timing was right, and I’ve never looked back! I’m incredibly grateful to be part of a team whose values align so closely with my own.

Outside of work, I’m a recent trans-Tasman transplant, having moved to Sydney to be closer to my two adult daughters. I’m loving life in the Eastern Suburbs—the beaches, the incredible food and the strong sense of community. You’ll often find me at Parkrun, where I’m on a mission to complete 100 runs by the end of 2026 (I’m already up to 82!). I also love reading, travelling, gardening and volunteering at Waverley Cemetery, where I help restore native coastal vegetation to support the return of local wildlife.
