At Spot Therapy Hub’s Norwest Clinic, our speech pathology services are grounded in a relationship-based approach. We understand that effective communication goes beyond just speech and language skills; it’s about building meaningful connections and fostering positive relationships.
Our therapists work closely with individuals and families to understand their unique communication styles, preferences, and goals. Through collaborative therapy sessions, we focus on nurturing strong relationships and creating an environment where communication flourishes naturally.
Learn MoreSpot Therapy Hub’s Occupational Therapists at the Norwest Clinic incorporate the DIR Floortime model into all of our relationship based Occupational Therapy sessions. Developed by Dr. Stanley Greenspan, DIR Floortime emphasises the importance of engaging individuals in playful and meaningful interactions to promote social-emotional development and overall well-being. At Spot, we believe in the power of play as a tool for learning and growth.
Our therapists utilise the DIR Floortime approach to tailor therapy sessions to the individual interests and strengths of each client, fostering creativity, exploration, and meaningful connections in every interaction. By embracing this holistic approach, we empower individuals to develop essential skills for life while having fun along the way.
Learn MoreHere at Spot, we believe in the power of community. We invite families to become part of our Spot family, where they can access a range of services tailored to their specific needs. Whether it’s occupational therapy, speech pathology, support workers, therapy assistants or a combination of everything, our team is here to support you every step of the way.
Our approach is rooted in neurodiversity affirmation, meaning we embrace and celebrate the diverse ways in which individuals think, learn, and communicate. We recognise that each person’s journey is unique, and we tailor our services to meet their individual needs and goals.
