Connecting Communities for Inclusive Care

At Spot, we believe that building strong relationships within our community is important so that we can continue to spread Spot’s message of neurodiversity affirming care and foster an environment of understanding, inclusion and support.

We want to develop relationships and raise awareness in our community, spreading awareness about neurodiversity with an affirming lens that empowers parents and carers who are noticing differences in their child, to feel curious and reach out to professionals like us.

Our Community Commitment

Spot is passionate about making high quality healthcare accessible to all.

That is why Spot also offers outreach programs where our Director, Kate and the Spot Team travel to rural communities in NSW, Tasmania and Queensland to support families that do not have access to neuro-affirming services.

This rural outreach complements our telehealth services enabling families all over Australia to connect with therapists that are the right fit for them.

How We Support Schools

Spot is passionate about offering extensive support to schools and their educators. Our services include:

• Individual and Group Sessions: Our Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists are available to conduct sessions within your school, whether it’s for individual students or groups. We tailor our approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Professional Development: We’re passionate about helping schools grow. Our team can provide professional development opportunities for your educators, helping them better understand and support students with diverse needs.
• Parent Education Nights: We host informative and interactive parent education nights to empower families with the knowledge and tools to support their children at home. These events strengthen the partnership between schools and parents, ensuring a unified approach to care.

At Spot Therapy Hub, we prioritise evidence-based and neuro-affirming approaches in everything we do. Our specialised tutoring services are no exception.
