Grady Swithenbank

Speech Pathologist

Originally from a small country town in Western Australia, Grady completed a Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Canberra. Prior to becoming a Speech Pathologist, Grady completed a Bachelor of Musical Theatre at the Queensland Conservatorium and has worked as a professional singer and actor for over 10 years.

Between performing contracts, Grady worked as a Teacher Aide across primary and high schools throughout Australia in both mainstream and special education settings. Drawing on his experience in singing, voice, speech, language, literacy and his own lived experience of neurodivergence, Grady brings a unique perspective to his work as a clinician.

Grady has a strong interest in social communication and is passionate about bringing creativity into his sessions. He believes communication is a human right and enjoys empowering his clients to find their voice – whatever that may look like.
Outside of work, Grady is usually found crying over the result of the West Coast Eagles game on the weekend.
