Hi there! My name is Maddy. I am a Psychology graduate and a current Speech Pathology student. While I’ve been told I’m a relatively quiet person, I prefer to say that I’m a good listener. I love to connect with people and listen to their stories and their interests, and I love to learn! I am patient and empathetic, and I’m always taking steps to improve my own understanding of the world and the experiences and perspectives of others in it. I think we have a lot to learn from kids and young people especially, and so I’m super keen to help them find their voices and get the best start to life as a communicator! In my spare time I’m trying new cafés (always trying to find the best mocha and banana bread), watching movies and playing board games with my family – I’m also trying to read more!
