Madi is a committed and passionate Speech Pathologist, who strives to help people of all ages reach their communication, feeding and participation goals. Madi emphasises building strong relationships with clients and their families to ensure therapy is meaningful, achievable and supportive. She believes that every individual has the potential to thrive, and her approach focuses on personalised and compassionate care. Madi enjoys discovering and learning about every individual’s hobbies, talents and skills and incorporating these into sessions.
Madi completed her Masters of Speech Language Pathology at the University of Sydney and is a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). Madi enjoys supporting clients with a range of participation goals including speech, literacy, social communication and language development. Madi has special interests in supporting Cleft Palate speech and feeding differences, having completed placements in these areas at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Madi values collaboration with other professionals and actively incorporates evidence-based practices to enhance the effectiveness of her sessions. Having lived in Spain for two years, she also speaks Spanish and is interested in understanding bilingual language development.
In her spare time Madi enjoys ocean swimming, trying new restaurants and spending
time outdoors and at the beach.
