Jacqueline Giesser

Speech Pathologist

Jacqueline has clinical interests in paediatric feeding, swallowing, early language and stuttering and as such attended The Breathing Link and Oro-Motor link courses. During her time at school, Jacqueline learned literacy using the Spalding Method. She also has skills in the program Visualising and Verbalising and is trained in both the Lidcombe and Camperdown programs from the Stuttering Research Centre (at UTS).

Jacqueline was introduced to speech pathology as a profession when her twin brothers started sucking their thumbs, which changed the structure of their palates and resulted in lisping.

In her spare time, you will find Jacqueline on the netball court trying out different positions and on the soccer field in the blaring sun. She also has a passion for running and keeping fit. Jacqueline also likes spending her weekends around friends and family, always trying the new trendy restaurants in town, with a cheeky cocktail of course.

For Jacqueline, Spot Therapy Hub embodies the values of inclusion, community, and support. Jacqueline feels excited and lucky to come to work every day in such a positive and uplifting environment. She absolutely loves her job and the team around her.
