Hi Everyone, my name is Ciara and my role as a support worker is such a rewarding one, getting to make a positive impact in your child’s everyday life is what brings me joy.
I’ve experienced first hand what it’s like to grow up with a sibling who has a disability and I understand not all days can be sunshine & rainbows but that’s where I am here to help!
My background is in Public Health but with a lifetime of experience of growing up with my younger sister who has Down Syndrome and Autism I naturally found myself in the role of a careworker. I worked in a residential home for 4 years supporting amazing individuals with a range of intellectual, physical and mental health disabilities.
Things I enjoy outside of work include CrossFit, sunrise strolls on the beach and catching up with friends.
